Whitehouse Ohio Online Driver's Ed

Whitehouse deserves a strong standalone driver-education page because it contains the central Anthony Wayne Local Schools secondary campus, State Route 64, a major regional trail crossing and current 2026 roadway work.

A Skillful Driver provides Ohio online driver education for:

Teen / Beginning Driver Education

Behind-the-Wheel Training

A practical nearby option from the county foundation is All Star Driver Education in Maumee, while several Toledo-area schools are also available.

Learning to Drive in Whitehouse: SR 64, Finzel Road and the Wabash Cannonball Trail

State Route 64 / Providence Street

Whitehouse's municipal offices are located at:

6925 Providence Street

Whitehouse, OH 43571.

The village is also engaged in long-term State Route 64 Corridor Planning.

For a beginning driver, the Providence Street/SR 64 environment involves:

Village traffic

Businesses

Intersections

Through traffic

Pedestrians and cyclists

Anthony Wayne High School

Anthony Wayne High School

5967 Finzel Road

Whitehouse, OH 43571.

Anthony Wayne Junior High

Anthony Wayne Junior High

6119 Finzel Road

Whitehouse, OH 43571.

The high school, junior high and Fallen Timbers Middle School are concentrated along the same Finzel Road campus area.

That makes Finzel Road one of the most important student-driver roads in Whitehouse.

Whitehouse Primary School

Whitehouse Primary School

6510 Texas Street

Whitehouse, OH 43571.

Texas Street therefore creates a separate elementary-school traffic environment from the larger Finzel Road secondary campus.

2026 Cemetery Road Resurfacing

Whitehouse's current project page identifies Cemetery Road resurfacing from the Wabash Trail to Weckerly Road as a 2026 project.

The village held a pre-construction meeting in September 2025 and advertised the project for bids in March 2026.

STATUS: 2026 ROAD PROJECT.

Students should check current village information for temporary lane or access changes.

Wabash Cannonball Trail

The Wabash Cannonball Trail passes through Whitehouse and provides a 63-mile regional multi-use trail for walkers, cyclists and other non-motorized users.

For a new driver, trail crossings require deliberate scanning for cyclists and pedestrians before turning or crossing the trail.

Providence-Neapolis-Swanton Road Roundabout

Lucas County's 2026 project list also includes a roundabout at Providence-Neapolis-Swanton Road and Archbold-Whitehouse Road.

This is part of the road network outside the central village but is relevant to Whitehouse-area travel.

Students should not confuse this with the separate SR 64 roundabout or with road projects in Waterville.

Future Finzel Road Work

Whitehouse planning records also identify a Finzel Road Improvements project from the SR 64 roundabout to Anthony Wayne Junior High, currently programmed for 2028.

STATUS: FUTURE 2028 PROJECT, NOT ACTIVE 2026 CONSTRUCTION.
